Are you a marketing professional interested in helping a non-profit medical organization increase their ability to guide teens on a path to smart decision-making when it comes to character, sex ed health and relationships?

Then volunteer with the NJ Physicians Advisory Group, an organization that provides curricula, workshops, in-service programs and conferences based on current, medically accurate information on teen health. Marketed to educators, parents and health professionals, the curricula, YES You Can!, is available for 5th/6 th Grade, Middle School (level 1), High School (level 2) and High School (level 3).

With your marketing expertise, assist us with:

  • the development of a marketing plan and package
  • increasing our visibility on the internet

Can you assist us in broadening awareness of what our team does? We have a peer-reviewed journal article that comes out October 1st about the impact of our curriculum on students and we need to make the most of these program results. Bottom line is that we help young people make smart personal choices by building into them the skills needed to avoid high-risk behaviors, including avoiding early sexual involvement.

Mission Statement

To bring current, medically accurate information on teen sexual health to educators, parents and health professionals by providing curricula, workshops, in-service programs and conferences.

Description

We are a small non-profit with a volunteer President and Board of 7 people. Our YES You Can! risk-avoidance curricula, impacting 5th-12th grades, is being used in over 250 NJ public schools and 8 additional states.

Our goal is to have well trained school health educators confident in their ability to empower young people with the understanding, and the skills needed, to avoid high-risk behaviors including early sexual involvement.

We hold grant opportunities allowing schools to receive our health curricula at no cost, and to attend our full day health conferences throughout NJ. We have begun expanding this service beyond NJ and have found great interest. We are now working to see how we can assist school health departments nationally.
