Pets and Their Heroes (PATH Program) at the Humane Society of Southern Arizona brings together veterans and adoptable dogs in need of enrichment, training and companionship. By training, exercising, and socializing adoptable dogs, veterans are enabling these dogs to find forever homes faster, which allows the veteran to witness the positive effects of their work.

The mission of the Green Valley - Sahuarita Volunteer Clearinghouse is to place volunteers with organizations that need their help.
Description
The Green Valley - Sahuarita Volunteer Clearinghouse was created to promote volunteerism in the Green Valley - Sahuarita Arizona area. The Clearinghouse works with 50 organizations, referring volunteers to them and helping them recruit and retain volunteers. The Clearinghouse was created under the auspices of the Pima Council on Aging, the Green Valley Council, and the Joyner Green Valley Library. It is staffed by volunteers and is led by an active advisory board. the Clearinghouse annually sponsors a "Volunteer Showcase."
