ORGANIZATION: Reading Connections, Inc

Conduct small group instruction using "What to Do for Health" series of books to promote health literacy and health care access.

Conduct health literacy classes based on results of pre-test to adults in existing Reading Connections’ literacy classes for 30 minutes once per week for eight-week sessions according to the class schedule. For classes operating twice a week, student instructors will select one day of the week for class. Classes can be taught by 1-2 student instructors each session with continuity of instructors preferred. (Classes can be 2x per week if tutor and students request.)

Health related field of study or background preferred, but not required.
