This is a great opportunity for you or your group to contribute to the success of the book sale hosted by the Friends of the Carmichael Library. The book sale takes place at the Carmichael Library on SATURDAY and SUNDAY, NOV. 17 & 18.
We're looking for volunteers to help our book sale a success. Volunteers will help with set up activities on Friday. These activities include moving boxes (filled with books), unpacking boxes, and sorting books onto tables. Clean up activities on Sunday include repacking unsold books and returning the packed boxes to the storage area.
These activities require an ability to lift boxes (up to 40 pounds).
Specific times we need help:
Set-Up Book Sale: FRIDAY, NOV. 16, 3:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Take down and clean up: SUNDAY, NOV. 18, 4:00 pm TO 6:00 pm.
You can volunteer one day or both days - it's up to you! Please indicate which day(s) you are available.
As a token of our appreciation each volunteer will be able to choose 2 books for each shift worked!
