Help make history by securing the signatures needed to bring Oneness Declaration to the United Nations! Support our outreach efforts by researching and reaching out to organizations and individuals who resonate with Oneness in general and the Oneness Declaration and Global Oneness Day in particular.
The Oneness Declaration came out of an effort begun in 2008. Members of Humanity’s Team created a Oneness petition with the goal of obtaining 50,000 signatures that could be delivered to the United Nations (U.N.) with a request that the U.N. support the focus on awakening Oneness. By the time Humanity’s Team approached the U.N. in May, 2010, over 52,000 signatures had been obtained from more than 150 countries.Humanity's Team now seeks to return to the U.N. with 100,000 signatures. You can help us achieve this goal!
You will use your own computer and Internet access and our Google environment to track your contacts and follow up with requests to sign and support the Oneness Declaration. When an organization/individual agrees to have their photo added among other signatories, you will make the necessary arrangements with the technical team.
Your aptitude for research will assist you in establishing the best points of contact for a range of organizations and individuals. Your strong communication and writing skills ensure letters you personalize are professional and accurate. Your social media skills with Facebook, Twitter and other channels will afford you flexibility in connecting with contacts. Description
From its inception, Humanity’s Team was organized as a global grassroots spiritual movement. Humanity’s Team supporters hold onto a truth -- the eternal truth that We Are All One -- and seek to make this truth evident through our lives lived, thereby helping others see this truth demonstrated, changing hearts and minds, which change behaviors. Humanity’s Team was founded in 2003 to address suffering and other issues stemming from the prevailing belief that we are separate from God, from each other and from all of life, and the companion belief in an authoritarian or malevolent God. This is why our movement has been dubbed "a Civil Rights Movement for the Soul." We in Humanity’s Team see a healing truth in who we are -- a truth that heals ourselves, our relationships, our communities and our world. We see that we are all part of one essence that some call God and others call Universe and that the one essence is sacred, divine, loving, compassionate, creative and eternal.
