All of our volunteers offer emotional support and assistance to patients and their families during this most difficult time and would greatly benefit by the gracious giving of your time. Some activities may include helping with the activities of daily living, grocery shopping, running errands or providing companionship as well as being an attentive listener. Some patients appreciate being read to or listening to soothing music.

Description
Lion Hospice, SERVING THE DALLAS/FORT WORTH METROPLEX AND SURROUNDING COUNTIES, offers a special type of care designed to provide comfort and support to patients and their families when a life-limiting illness no longer responds to cure-oriented treatments. Hospice care does not prolong life nor does it hasten death. The goal of hospice care is to improve the quality of a patient's end of life offering comfort and dignity.
