Felidae is seeking a volunteer manager to onboard, engage and organize our network of volunteers. Tasks include:
- Responding to volunteer inquiries (Email and phone) and meeting with volunteers either on-site at our Mill Valley or via Zoom/Google Hangouts/Skype - in a timely manner - Responses to inquiries required within 1 business day
- Keeping the volunteer database current and organized
- Work with Admin and President to schedule volunteers for various activities
- Assist in the improvement of the volunteer management protocols
- Sending weekly updates to Admin and President
- Periodic virtual meetings or at Felidae Office in Mill Valley
Position will require training virtually (or on-site at the Felidae office in Mill Valley, CA) and will require anywhere from 2-5 hours per week.
We ask that anyone interested be willing and able to commit for at least 6 months, but at least 1 year is preferred. We hope for a long term person for this role.

Felidae’s multipronged approach combines forward-looking research, education and technology to discover new approaches to in situ felid preservation, and reach worldwide audiences through technology and social media. We partner and provide leadership for world-class research studies, supplying strategy, planning, funding, media, field support and assistance with logistics. With our innovative interactive education programs we share data and learning from these studies with the public in a way that’s engaging and inspiring.
