Special Olympics Florida Project Unify is hosting the FHSAA Basketball League Play at The Big House in Tavares, FL .

Twenty volunteers are needed to serve as score and time keepers. The event is from 9am-3pm

Help make a difference by volunteer with Special Olympics Florida! (This event is on November 3 and November 17 and volunteers are needed both dates).

"The mission of Special Olympics Florida (SOFL) is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, who wish to participate, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.

Description

Special Olympics Florida provides sports training and Olympic-style competition to more than 60,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities and developmental disabilities throughout the state. Special Olympics Florida is a Level I Accredited Program (highest level of accreditation granted by SOI) and is divided into 11 area programs, which cover over 55 counties.
