Position Title: Volunteer Coordinators (Commitment: 1-2 Hours Weekly)
Purpose: The position of Volunteer Coordinator serves as a contact person for the volunteer program, including recruitment management and screening, interviewing, placement and recognition of volunteers.

Description
Arts for Lawrence (AFL) is the largest arts organization in the City of Lawrence, IN and the northeast quadrant of Indianapolis. The organization builds partnerships to provide quality programming in visual, performing and literary arts to a diverse audience. AFL is the steward of the city owned Theater at the Fort and the Fort Ben Cultural Campus, both located within the historic district of the decommissioned Fort Benjamin Harrison. AFL offers signature events and festivals, visual art classes, poetry readings, and summer art camp among other events. AFL builds partnerships to provide ongoing performances at the theater in drama, music, dance, improv and more. The new cultural campus is composed of a visual arts center, history walk, new theater addition, amphitheater, artist walk, and musical swings.
