Fundraising and special event volunteers will provide support to the Resource Development Manager. These volunteers must have basic computer skills, have strong writing abilities and be comfortable making phone calls. During special events, volunteers will assist with planning, securing donations, advertising and day-of activities. When not working on a particular event, fundraising and special event volunteers will support the department by creating excel spreadsheets, conducting research for grants and donors, making phone calls to supporters and donors and much more.
Scheduled shifts of 2-4 hours, during normal business hours as well as after hours and weekends, are most beneficial to the Center. Shifts vary, depending on the event calendar.
