Community & Outreach Ambassadors provide support to the Outreach Coordinator. These volunteers will accompany the Outreach Coordinator to trainings throughout the community.
Volunteers will prepare training materials, handouts and grade evaluations. Community & Outreach Ambassadors will be asked to represent the Center at health, community, and volunteer events by engaging attendees, distributing materials, and answering questions about our services. Additionally, community & outreach ambassadors will be asked to distribute WCCAC literature to businesses, schools, churches, etc.
Ambassador shifts vary, depending on the training and event schedule. Shifts may be
Scheduled shifts of 4 -6 hours, during normal business hours as well as after hours and weekends, are most beneficial to the Center. Will try to accommodate all schedules.
All volunteers are required to fill out a Volunteer Application and Criminal Background Check. You must pass the Criminal Background Check to be eligible to volunteer.

Description
The Williamson County Children’s Advocacy Center (WCCAC) is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization that provides a child-sensitive, safe environment for children to report abuse. It is both the PLACE where children come to talk and the PROCESS of bringing together the agencies charged with investigating and prosecuting abuse. We serve children ages 2-17 throughout Williamson County.
