Family Support is our Priority. Hours needed 9-5 Monday - Friday, with the exception of Wednesday mornings.
Family support volunteers provide support to the Forensic Interviewers (FI) and Child and Family Therapists. These volunteers will welcome clients and their caregivers to the Center and provide comfort and support to them throughout their appointment. Family support volunteers will be asked to supervise and play with children of all ages. When there are no FI clients at the Center, family support volunteers will support the FI Department by stocking materials, as well as sanitation of the department.
Scheduled shifts of 3-6 hours, during our normal business hours are most beneficial to the Center. Additionally, family support volunteers may be asked to provide after hours and on-call support.
Scheduled shifts of 4 -6 hours, during normal business hours as well as after hours and weekends, are most beneficial to the Center. Will try to accommodate all schedules.
All volunteers are required to fill out a Volunteer Application and Criminal Background Check. You must pass the Criminal Background Check to be eligible to volunteer.
Please include a phone number where you can be reached. I will call you within 48 hours to get our process started.
Thank you for wanting to share your time supporting the families of abused children here in Williamson County! Amanda
