Wells Bring Hope is drilling wells to bring safe water to rural villages in Niger, West Africa, one of the poorest country in the world. We are committed to saving lives with safe water and providing sustainable solutions to transform lives. Furthering the dilemma: the burden of fetching water falls upon women, preventing the young girls from attending school and women from working productively for their families. We are looking for someone to pr ovide strategic marketing direction to fulfill the organization’s financial goals.

Required Skills:

  • Formerly or presently functioning at a senior level in marketing
  • A strategic thinker oriented to both long and short term planning
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial approach
  • Ability to develop and oversee projects from concept to through execution
  • Ideally, have experience with a nonprofit in a marketing position, including involvement in the development and implementation of a marketing plan
  • Capable of working with a small marketing team, if needed
  • Must live in the Los Angeles area and be able to attend a two hour monthly meeting on a week day morning with our Advisory Board
Responsibilities:
  • Develop a marketing/strategic plan, working with the President and Director of Operations.
  • Create an annual action plan for implementing the marketing/strategic plan.
  • Work with the social media manager to provide direction for implementing the social media aspect of the marketing plan
  • Submit quarterly status reports regarding team accomplishments during the quarter and goals for the next quarter.
