We have music club, chess club, art club, photography club, cooking club, and so many more clubs at Youth Net, but we don’t have any club leaders? Could you share your talents, abilities, and special interests with the kids at Youth Net afterschool program? We are looking for volunteers to become a leader of a club or to help us create new clubs at Youth Net. As a club leader, you will help plan program content and activities for the club, assist youth with club activities, and to serve as a positive role model for youth for the 2016-2017 academic year.
The Youth Net Program is designed to promote academic success, the development of personal/social skills, provide structured recreational activities, health, and wellness. You must be 13 years or older. Training will be provided about Youth Net policies, but we expect you to be already knowledgeable about a club activity for example: you already must know how to take photos for the photo club or make jewelry for the jewelry making club. This volunteer opportunity could be used as an internship.
