Childbirth Survival International (CSI) is a 501(c)(3) global grassroots nonprofit organization reaches the unreached with health services, resources, and information. CSI's work focuses on improving and strengthening Quality, Access, and Delivery (QAD) of health services, resources, and information for pregnant women, newborns, children under five years old, and adolescents/youth in marginalized communities.
CSI is seeking experienced Grant Writers to join the dynamic Team of Volunteers. Requirements are:
- A Bachelor's degree in communications, English, writing or similar field.
- Excellent grammar and strong research skills needed; knowledge of reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health is preferred
- At least 3-5 years in successful searching and writing
- Ability to work independently with minimum to no supervision
- Previous grant writing experience with an international nonprofit organization
- Professional inter-personal skills and ability to work under pressure/competing priorities
- Understanding of global health and development topics in developing countries specifically Africa
- Passion to help others and making a difference
