As people of Providence, we reveal God’s love for all, especially the poor and vulnerable, through our compassionate service.
Community Connections programs seek to align the volunteer coordination efforts of Providence Newberg, local faith communities, business and industry partners, and service organizations in order to meet identified community health needs in innovative and cost effective ways.
Description
Community Connections now operates the Faith in Action coalition and several volunteer programs, which fall into four key categories:
- Medical center volunteers
- Aging services and family caregivers
- Children and family services
- Health and fitness programs
