Women's Crisis Center partners with dedicated and compassionate direct-service volunteers to assist survivors of domestic violence or sexual assault at local Northern Kentucky hospitals. We rely on our volunteers to use the knowledge that they have gained through training to be advocates and representatives of the Center, and sources of support for the survivor. Volunteers will be provided with a 40-hour training, and are required to commit to being on-call for at least 2 hospital advocacy shifts per month for a minimum of one year. Available hospital advocacy shifts are Monday - Friday, 6 PM - midnight and midnight - 8 am; Saturday & Sunday 8AM - 6 PM and 6 PM - midnight and midnight -8am. **During Covid, the advocacy role is done over the phone.
