ORGANIZATION: End Malaria Now

End Malaria Now is seeking motivated, hard-working and responsible students or young professionals looking to gain experience working with a nonprofit. Prior volunteer experience is not a requirement, but we do require you to have a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. A potential volunteer should be comfortable working independently.

This volunteer position will provide someone with substantial experience in nonprofit development, grant research, events planning, researching donor prospects, solicitation strategizing, in addition to gaining valuable research experience. We are looking for an enthusiastic, out-going volunteer/intern to assist the organization. Assitance in office is also needed.

End Malaria Now’s mission is simple:To end deaths due to malaria. The world has known how to beat this disease for more than a century, yet it remains the number one killer of children under the age of five in Africa, claiming more than half a million lives a year. End Malaria Now works to raise the profile of the disease among the public, policymakers, and businesses, while engaging the private sector to provide life-saving bed nets and other critical interventions to families in Africa

End Malaria Now is working to provide life-saving bed nets to prevent the transmission of Malaria in Africa. Where a child under the age of five dies every 60 seconds. Over half a million people will die from Malaria each year and over 200 million will be infected. Our grassroots campaign is raising awareness and public support to fight the threat of Malaria; we are determined to end malaria deaths in Africa.
