Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Organize, attend, and participate in special events and promotions advocating Reserve Mid Atlantic.

  2. Serve as spokesperson for the organization at meetings, special and media events.

  3. Responsible for developing and implementing all outreach and marketing activities with assistance of Volunteer Recruitment Coordinator.

    This can be done through a combination of personal contacts, brochures, mass mailings, public presentations, special events, the Internet, etc.

  4. Establish and maintain effective relationships with non-profit and government agencies to develop partnerships.

  5. Assist with performing communication, outreach, marketing, public relations with the Marketing Specialist.

  6. The Volunteer Recruitment Coordinator assists the Marketing Specialist and performs other related tasks as required.

Description

ReServists provide direct services, administrative support, and capacity-building expertise in schools, social service agencies, cultural institutions, and public agencies. Many use their experience with ReServe to launch new careers in the nonprofit sector.

ReServe is supported by private and public grants and individual donations. The ReServist stipend is paid by the employers, who also pay a small program fee.

ReServe(r) is a subsidiary of Fedcap(r).
