ORGANIZATION: Sierra Club Northeast Florida Group

Share information on Sierra Club initiatives with people who attend events in Jacksonville. These events include the Butterfly Festival, Right Whale Festival and other events you would want to attend anyway--about 5 per year. You will be paired with an experienced volunteer to work about 2 hours during major Jacksonville events.

Sierra Club has an exhibit and materials that illustrates our major activities and highlights upcoming environmental initiatives such as signing of solar constitutional amendment petitions, legislative lobbying, and other urgent actions undertaken by the Club.

It is a great way to learn about Sierra Club, environmental happenings, and meet people. The time commitment is flexible relative to your schedule. This is a fun opportunity as an entry level experience.
