The 9th Annual Neighbors Helping Neighbors Fall Dinner & Auction raises funds for the West Seattle Helpline's emergency assistance programs to ensure that all of our neighbors in need have a place to turn when they need help getting back on their feet.
Friday, October 12th, from 6-9pm, we will be spending the evening at the Hall of Fauntleroy, to celebrate our successes all while raising crucial funds for our emergency assistance programs and strengthening our wonderful West Seattle community!
In order for the night to run smoothly, we are looking for volunteers! Roles will include: selling raffle tickets, assisting with set-up/clean-up, manning our photo booth, preparing auction items, and more!
Volunteer shifts will run between 4:30-9:30 pm, ranging in length from 3-4 hours long.
Note: Volunteers must be 21+ years, as there will be alcohol at the event!
Join us to celebrate our successes, help us realize our vision, and strengthen our wonderful and caring West Seattle community!

Mission Statement
The West Seattle Helpline is a non-profit social service agency offering temporary emergency assistance for West Seattle neighbors. We provide financial aid and referral advice to members of our community who find themselves in need. We also have a clothing bank where families can get 3 free outfits every two months. By providing access to a wide range of information and community services we also help people find their way toward self-sufficiency.
Description
Each year we help approximately 1,200 West Seattle residents who, because of illness, loss of employment, disability, limited income, or a combination of circumstances, find themselves in need. Our services include direct aid toward rent, utilities, food, clothes, transportation, and referrals to other needed services. We do problem solving with clients to find long-term solutions. The Helpline is funded by individuals, churches, and businesses in West Seattle.
