Contribute to Habitat’s mission of providing local families with a springboard to secure, stable futures through affordable homeownership by welcoming our home-building construction crews on mornings in San Francisco as a Site Greeter. Site greeters welcome and check-in construction volunteers from 8:00am-9:30am on Wednesdays, Fridays, or Saturdays. This is a great opportunity to help out without committing an entire day. Training is provided, and pairs of greeters are welcome! Habitat Greater San Francisco believes that everyone deserves a decent place to live. Although we are largely known for our new construction projects that make homeownership accessible to low-income families, we also work with existing homeowners to keep their homes by providing low-cost home repairs. Together with a caring community, generous donors, and dedicated staff, Habitat GSF works to help hard-working families build futures and the most vulnerable of our community age in place and preserve their legacy.
