We create volunteer opportunities to address community needs in Philadelphia and to inspire local youth age 11-18 for a lifetime commitment to service.
The youth in our community are our future leaders! YVC realizes how important it is to get youth involved in the community at a young, impressionable age. Youth volunteers are more likely to continue volunteering as adults and making an impact in their community.
Volunteering also allows youth to meet people who are from different backgrounds. Exposing youth to new environments and people helps open their eyes to issues that may be occurring within the community.
We strongly believe that youth are our future and they have the capability of making a difference right now, right here in Philadelphia!
