We are American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) Region 94 La Habra. We need a new member of our board who can help us keep our volunteers organized. Your primatry responsibility would be to collect volunteer forms, submit them online and help keep our database up to date. You would be following up on incomplete applications and verifying IDs and working with our coordinators to make sure everyone has done thier volunteer form and has attended needed training. This is a great job for someone organized, good at computers, and is passionate about making sure background checks are complete for the protection of the youth we serve. We have approximately 900 players and 100 volunteers each fall season. The majority of your job would take place over the summer and can be done mostly on your schedule. This is a voting board position within the AYSO organization. Board meeting attendance (monthly) is required along with occiasional Saturdays to meet volunteers.
