Mission Statement
Northwest Alabama Spay And Neuter Assistance (NASANA) is operated exclusively to help reduce the overpopulation of dogs and cats by providing spay/neuter assistance to residents of Lauderdale, Colbert and Franklin Counties in Northwest Alabama. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
Description
NASANAwas formed in 2014 by compassionate and concerned citizens in our community with many years of experience in animal welfare issues in Northwest Alabama. Our primary focus area is Lauderdale, Colbert, and Franklin counties in Northwest Alabama. NASANA has no paid staff members. We are an all -volunteer group working together to help spay and neuter as many companion pets as possible. We are the only organization in this area whose sole purpose is to get to the root of the problem and fix animals to prevent them from producing puppies and kittens that have no place to go.
