About Westside German Shepherd Rescue
3016 South Hill Street, Los Angeles, CA 90007, US
Westside German Shepherd Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit. We rescue German Shepherds and German Shepherd mixes, and any dog we feel we can place successfully in a reasonable time. We are not just limited to German Shepherds. If a dog we are saving comes in with another breed we would want the flexibility to keep the dogs together. If Westside comes across a very adoptable dog, regardless of breed, who is not being saved by another rescue, we would like to be the last chance for that dog. We screen applicants, we have adoption counselors work with each potential adopter. We do a review of the property, we have adopters sign contracts and we are responsible for the dog for the rest of his/her life. All dogs receive the medical care they need and are spayed or neutered.
Westside is looking for volunteers who are able to come to the rescue on an ongoing basis and walk the wonderful dogs who are waiting for their forever homes. Walking hours are 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., seven days a week and volunteers are able to set their own schedule. We provide a one-time orientation class prior to meeting and walking the dogs. Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older. If you'd like to walk and spend time with these magnificent dogs please contact Westside at: email@example.com.
We'll work with your schedule.
