When the refrigerator is empty and parents are working over the weekend, many children and teens don't have the food they need to stay healthy and keep up in school. You can help as a Feeding the Future volunteer! Join Boys & Girls Club in providing nutritious, child-friendly, self-serve food designed to supplement a family of four for the weekend.

  • We need a group of 5-7 people each week who can help unpack, sort and package food that goes home with our members. (Generally we like an entire group to sign up together as it is hard to schedule multiple indiviudals each week).
  • Volunteers participate in a 2-3 hour shift between Wednesday mornings to Friday mornings. Shifts can be scheduled in the morning, afternoon or early evening. We are flexible on scheduling.
  • Volunteers package anywhere from 150-350 bags per week and add hygiene products the last week of every month.

Volunteers are a tremendous help in these positions as it helps our staff remain at their sites and focused on the kids we serve. In giving a few hours of your time, you will help make sure that children living in extreme poverty have the food and personal care items they need for a brighter future.
