If you are comppasionate, caring, and loving..
Compassus Hospice & Palliative serves terminally ill patients and their loved ones throughout the Baton Rouge area. We honor life and offer hope to individuals facing a life-limiting illness by supporting them with compassion, diginity, and comfort care.
Volunteers are an integral part of our hospice team. Most hospice volunteers feel personally rewarded through their offering of time, energy, and compassion when they see how much they are able to help patients and families.
Volunteers typically gain:
- Greater self-knowledge form insights gained from relationships with patients, their families, and from training.
- Spirtual growth form supporting a person through their final days.
