Volunteers help prepare food, clean up, and interact for residents at The Naomi's House. Help residents enjoy a free meal! Nothing like a home cooked meal in a family setting. Not a cook? Don't worry! The Resident Coordinator and other staff we there to assist and the recipes are very easy to follow. CHEFS ARE WELCOMED!!!
Time commitment is 2-3 hours per meal, meals occur daily. Volunteers are expected to commit to one meal per month.

Building lives and helping people through developing community programs and events to restore, renew the family unit. KV will provide outreach programs and collaborations to advance youth, women and men community and economic development.
Description
An active program that we have is "Pearls For Girls" supporting girls who have lost their mother due to death, incarceration or abandonment.
Another active program is The Naomi's House - "The Place Where Life Begins Again" - Ahouse for disenfranchised woman in transition. We believe that a woman, given the proper tools of building her self-esteem, dealing with the core issue(s) that landed her behind bars and finally preparing her for entrepreneurship, can be restored as a productive community contributor.
