A "want" versus a "need". How to balance a checkbook. Don't you wish that someone had taught you those things as you were growing up?
Now there is someone. YOU. Your enthusiasm, life experiences, and a willingness to share and empower students to dream is priceless! Make your mark on our community's future and help to inspire and shape young lives! Junior Achievement provides the training, curriculum, and a classroom of children/youth (choose - Grades K-12). The program's mission is simple but challenging; to ensure that every child in Polk County has a fundamental understanding of the free enterprise system and their role in it.
A one-time orientation (3-hrs at the most) is provided, so that you will feel comfortable when visiting school classroom(s).
