C.A.R.E. For Animals is a non-profit animal welfare organization located in Raleigh, North Carolina.
At this time we only have a need for adult volunteers (18 years and older). The following are three of our greatest volunteer needs however we do have some additional needs:
1- Assist with adoption events to show the animals to the public for adoption.
2- Become a FABULOUS foster family! (This is our greatest need!) Open your heart and your home to a homeless animal awaiting adoption. We pay all the expenses! The more foster homes we have, the more lives we can save!!
3- Fundraising & Marketing help always needed.
- Help with planning and organizing events
- Staff fundraisers. We hold events like dog washes, photo fundraisers, silent auctions, etc.
- Assist with marketing our adoptable pets, events, etc.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to improve the quality of life of our friends, the animals, by: strengthening the relationship between humans and animals; ending suffering due to abandonment, abuse, and neglect; and decreasing the need for euthanasia of healthy, adoptable animals in our shelters.
Description
C.A.R.E. For Animals is a non-profit, all volunteer, animal welfare organization. We have a rescue/adoption program and work with area shelters to save animals. We act as a support to the community and offer education and awareness. We also have a small long-term foster care program for animals with health and/or behavioral issues that require rehabilitation or prevent them from being eligible for adoption.
