Volunteers are the HEART of Heartland Hospice! We are looking for more extraordinary individuals in Racine County to join our growing team of superstar volunteers! Interested in running bingo? Want to help decorate for holiday events? Perhaps you’re interested in serving residents during a seasonal dinner celebration or a fashion show event? Heartland Hospice is looking for volunteers to provide support to our patients and facilities by assisting with these memorable events.
Volunteers will assist Volunteer Coordinator and Account Liaison as needed. Some events may be recurrent while others are sporadic. We are looking for people with daytime and/or weekend availability. Service hours are flexible and scheduled according to your availability and location. Requirements of Special Event Volunteers: must be 18 years or older; agree to a background/reference check; have reliable transportation; complete a two-step TB test, and attend an orientation to learn more about the philosophy of hospice, our company, the role of the volunteer and communicating with hospice patients and their families.
