Brighter Bites is now offering a volunteer opportunity on Saturday morningse at the Houston Food bank, off Portwall from 7.45.00 am - 11.3.00 am. The operation on Saturday usually consists of boxing and bagging different types of fruits and veggies that comes in big gaylord's. This is the same fruit and veggies that will later be distributed to the many families at our sites and schools in Houston and surrounding areas, later that week. If this sounds like something you would be interested in, we would defiantly enjoy your help.

Brighter Bites is a locally started, globally minded team of parents, educators, nutritionists and volunteers who hope to make our world brighter, one bite at a time. Every week, we deliver fresh fruits and vegetables directly into our kids’ hands, teaching them how to use and choose a different kind of fast food. Along with recipe cards, nutrition facts, and ideas for preparation, we send children home from school with bags chock full of everything from apples and oranges to kale and cauliflower - a colorful variety of foods all delicious and nutritious in their own unique way. Brighter Bites is rooted in the belief that if we give our kids something better to munch on, they will. And the lives they lead will be as vibrant as the foods they crave. Brighter choices.
