Our organization is looking for a Social Impact - Curriculum Designer & Writer, preferably with previous demonstrated experience within the 501c3 sector. One who can assist with writing and developing the curriculum for our Learning Center's intended Programs

The primary purpose for the development of this Outreach & Campus is, to ensure the needs, safety, support, and sustainable improved quality of life of vulnerable young women ages 17-25 aging out of the foster care system.

Who are often left feeling abandoned, lost in life, unsafe, unloved, full of void, and lack basic life skills. They are economically challenged, due to the statue of limitation of current foster care financial assistance, and left with little to no education. In addition to lacking self-esteem, spiritual guidance, and suffer emotional trauma. However, they possess a strong desire to achieve a life filled with success and prosperity.

We will in a collaborative effort help them learn to live a sustainable independent quality life and how to effectively resolve emotional trauma. They will be also provided guidance with how to achieve wholeness with living a purpose driven life.

Additionally, our team has an objective to develop and implement internal operational business processes and systems.

The fundamental mission of W.I.S.E. Foundation is to empower women and children, to positively redirect their lives through education, engagement & additional comprehensive services provided through our 2nd Chance Program.

Description

Walking In the Spirit of Excellence (W.I.S.E.) Foundation is a non-profit organization with an educational intent. W.I.S.E. will provide a safe and productive environment for transitionally challenged women between the ages of 24-39. These are women and children who are economically challenged, with little to no education, lack self-esteem, spiritual guidance, and emotional stability. However, they possess a strong desire to achieve a life filled with success and prosperity.

W.I.S.E.’s primary focus will be developing, mentoring, and re-building the women, who are seeking independence and financial freedom. That they may provide a safe, happy, and overall enriching environment for themselves and their children We will assist our clients with developing attainable goals and educate them on how to obtain them. In addition, we will assist them with realigning their focus and outlook on life. Our programs will present them with opportunity to acquire the skillsets necessary to become entrepreneurs, or gain a rewarding career. Additionally, we will concentrate on the mental and spiritual wellness of our clients through our counseling program, to ensure sustainability.

Additionally, W.I.S.E. will implement a creative youth development (after care) program for youths between the ages of 8-17, which encompass arts, humanities, and science-based youth development, with an emphasis on creative inquiry and expression.
