Medical Professionals
We are looking for licensed medical professionals who want to utilize their skills to help improve the health and well-being of our low-income residents. Valley Community Healthcare is in need of the following medical professionals:
- Physicians
- RNPs
- RNs
- Dentists
- Optometrists
- LCSWs
- Others

The Volunteer Resource Booth
Our large and bustling North Hollywood Health Center maintains a Patient Resource Booth, staffed entirely by caring volunteers from our community. These volunteers are our "welcoming committee", our "traffic directors", and assist our patients in accessing additional community resources. We are always in need of volunteers to staff this booth. We ask that you work a minimum 2-hour shift and at least 4 hours per month. Shifts are available 8:30 am-5:00 pm Monday-Friday. If you have a few hours to spare and want to help low-income men, women, and children access the healthcare services they need, please contact Jane Bainter: jbainter@vchcare.org or call 818.301.6375 x1120

Description
Since 1970, Valley Community Healthcare has provided a full range of free and low-cost medical care and health services to low-income and uninsured men, women and children in the San Fernando Valley. With our 3 sites across the region, We provide the desparately needed Healthcare home for tens of thousands of newly insured and still uninsured people in need, keeping all these people from continuing to access care in our over-burdened emergency rooms. VCH is the 'family doctor' for our community.
