As a placement coordinator you are given the responsibility of overseeing the placement of animals from the minute they get off transport to when they arrive to your foster homes to the final step of being adopted. You will also assist your foster home through the entire adoption process of their foster animal. This may include but is not limited to; daily phone calls, daily emails, potential home visits, dealing with urgent situations, posting on FB, transporting, sending out contracts and paypal information. There is potential for uncomfortable situations with denying applications but those can be handled by way of educating the public about rescue, animals and why we do what we do and can be sent from a general email box so your information is not shared. You will start out slow with just a couple fosters. We ask that you have at least 5 foster homes under your care. You are welcome to have more. If you are more familiar with one breed over another, please say so and we will try to place you with familiar breeds. We will also try to place you with fosters that are closest to your location. This is not always realistic but we would love for it to someday be.
