Well, if you're reading this post you're obviously looking for some way to volunteer SO, buckle up, because you've found THE place you should put your time into. Ruff Start Rescue is a foster home-based Non-Profit 501c3, No-Kill dog and cat rescue based in Central Minnesota. We rescue stray, neglected, abandoned, and surrendered dogs and cats - heck, we've even rescued a chicken or two along the way! We work tirelessly to place these animals in new loving homes and would love to have YOU as a part of our team!
The Placement Coordinator works closely with the foster caretakers from start to finish - finding the right animal for the foster home, working with the foster home to process adoption applications, finalizing the adoption application, and more. This role requires someone who is willing to team with their foster homes and be their point of contact at Ruff Start Rescue (email and phone access are necessary). Whether it’s a question about a new foster animal, or helping finalize the animal’s adoption, the Ruff Start Placement Coordinators are integral to the success of the organization and each one helps us to save even more animals!
If you’re looking for more information about this role and other ways to volunteer with Ruff Start Rescue, please fill out a volunteer application and make sure to write which position(s) you're interested in. Thank you for considering volunteering with Ruff Start Rescue!

Description
Who We Are & How We Do It
We are a foster based animal rescue based out of Central MN. We are a No-Kill dog and cat rescue organization. We rescue stray, neglected, abandoned, and surrendered dogs and cats as well as ferrets, guinea pigs and rabbits. We all work very hard to place them in new loving homes. We have a facility in Princeton for staff and supplies, but we operate throughout all of central MN. In fact, we have most of our fosters in the twin cities and surrounding areas.
This group could not survive without all of our wonderful volunteers who spend countless hours devoting time to save lives. Most volunteers work full time jobs, have children, their own animals, etc and have a very busy schedule. So if your phone calls or emails are not answered by a live person right away, it’s probably because we are at work and will call you as soon as we can.
