About Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation
Fair Lakes Center, P.O. Box 223953, Chantilly, VA 20153, Fairfax, VA 22033, US
The Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation (LDCRF), a 501 c (3) non-profit organization, is a highly dedicated group of volunteers that rescues abandoned or displaced dogs and cats from the threat of euthanasia by area shelters or other at-risk situations. Once in our care, these companion animals are fully vaccinated and spayed or neutered. We also provide for those animals who need additional time and medical care before going to a new home.
Government workers, please designate Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation (Our number has changed to #97890) as your charity of choice for the Combined Federal Campaign. Your dollars make the difference in the lives of dogs and cats. A yearly contribution of $400 would allow two dogs to receive life-saving heartworm treatment or pay for spay neuter surgery for four dogs or cats.
What Does Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Do?
LDCRF goes to *open access shelters in rural areas such as West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina and Georgia and gets dogs and cats that are at high risk of being euthanized. After being vetted and spayed/neutered, they are placed up for adoption.
Where Do They Stay?
These dogs and cats are kept in foster homes and at LDCRF's facility in Spotsylvania, Virginia. Every weekend LDCRF holds 4 adoption events in the Northern Virginia area; Fairfax, Arlington and Leesburg. Here people can meet some of the many animals available for adoption, and hopefully find their new best friend!
Make A Difference!
There are always many opportunies to help, whether it's by volunteering, fostering, donating, fundraising or adopting! Check out our website, and don't hesitate to contact us with comments or questions!

Humane societies are private facilities. Some are open access and others are limited.
Foster groups are usually volunteer foster parents who don't have a physical location.
We'll work with your schedule.
