If so, then Habitat ReStore has a place for you in the front of the store! Volunteer for one or more shifts per week and build real-world work experience for your future employment opportunities while helping Habitat fulfill its mission to build affordable homes for families that need them!
As a ReStore Sales Assistant, you’ll learn to run a point-of-sale system, process returns, help merchandise furniture and household goods on the sales floor, process pick-up orders, and hone your customer service skills all in a fun environment with great people who will help you develop skills that will make you more marketable - all for a wonderful cause!
Shifts: Tuesday - Friday from 10:00am-2:00pm or 1:30-5:30pm; Saturday 9:00am-1:00pm or 12:30-4:30pm

Mission Statement
The Habitat ReStore is a fundraising branch of Habitat for Humanity of Monroe County. Habitat for Humanity of Monroe County works to eliminate poverty by building simple, decent, affordable homes in partnership with families in need. Habitat homeowners pay an interest-free mortgage and invest 250 hours of sweat equity, or volunteer time. Volunteer labor from Bloomington and Monroe County plus donations from individuals and organizations fund the construction and homeowner mortgage payments help sponsor future houses.
Description
The Monroe County Habitat ReStore is a discount home improvement store that sells new and like-new furniture, appliances, building materials and more. ReStore’s inventory comes from donations of goods from amazing people like you! The proceeds from our sales fund new homes for families in need, right here in Monroe County.
