Are you looking for a way to build your work experience and skills in a warehouse environment?

If so, then Habitat ReStore has a place for you! Volunteer for one or more shifts per week and build real-world work experience for your future employment opportunities while helping Habitat fulfill its mission to build affordable homes for families that need them!

As a ReStore Intake Assistant you’ll gain valuable experience in warehouse logistics, pick-up and delivery functions, and merchandising furniture on the sales floor. Work in a fun atmosphere with great people who will help you develop skills that will make you more marketable - all for a wonderful cause!

Shifts: Tuesday - Friday 9:00am-1:00pm or 1:00-5:30pm; Saturday from 9:00am-1:00pm and 1:00-4:30pm

Mission Statement

The Habitat ReStore is a fundraising branch of Habitat for Humanity of Monroe County. Habitat for Humanity of Monroe County works to eliminate poverty by building simple, decent, affordable homes in partnership with families in need. Habitat homeowners pay an interest-free mortgage and invest 250 hours of sweat equity, or volunteer time. Volunteer labor from Bloomington and Monroe County plus donations from individuals and organizations fund the construction and homeowner mortgage payments help sponsor future houses.

Description

The Monroe County Habitat ReStore is a discount home improvement store that sells new and like-new furniture, appliances, building materials and more. ReStore’s inventory comes from donations of goods from amazing people like you! The proceeds from our sales fund new homes for families in need, right here in Monroe County.
