Barn volunteers work at the SEO training barn cleaning stalls, keeping the barn and equipment clean, and helping with barn-related projects and events as-needed. Barn volunteers work near and eventually with the horses. Volunteers pursuing this position must commit to cleaning three to four stalls every other week.
New Volunteer Orientation is a prerequisite for this position. Barn Volunteer Training is a requirement as well, and new barn volunteers are paired with experienced volunteers who mentor and train the new volunteers until they are able to work more independently.Be sure to provide a valid email with your signup, because there are volunteer forms that will be emailed and need to be completed and brought to orientation. Please complete the forms before attending NVO. They take some time to fill out, and they must be completed before you may tour the barn.
