At the Jewish Home we bring residents each month to different off site outings, in the past we have gone places including the mall, Walmart, casinos, and festivals. Volunteers are needed for these trips to help push residents who are in wheelchairs for the day, and assist them with their shopping as needed. Volunteers are often welcome to ride the bus with us from the Jewish Home to wherever the outing is taking place. Lunch is normally provided for volunteers who help with outings.
Days and times for outings vary and volunteers can sign up for outings that work best for their schedule.

Description
The Jewish Home of Rochester was established in 1923. We are a 362-bed facility, which includes a 68-bed Transitional Care rehabilitation program and a 37-bed dementia unit. Our organization also provides a Day Care program, Outpatient Rehabilitation and At Home Services.
