COPE is a brand new innovative online mentoring program. The goal is to reduce recidivism and help people with a past offense successfully return home to the community and stay for good. We are currently seeking mentors to match with Coconino County adult probation and Navajo Nation clients. A perq and innovative aspect of this program is that all communication takes place virtually. There in no in person contact requirement other than the two hours a week spent communicating via cell phone, skype or email. We ask that mentors commit to one year relationship (this does not mean your mentorship will last a full year) have reliable internet access and are open minded. We are seeking all who want to help persons with past offenses return to the community.

Description
SNA provides neighborhood specific programs, services and initiatives designed to achieve set organizational/neighborhood objectives including: neighborhood resident capacity & leadership development, neighborhood youth development, promoting literacy (including technology), resident economic development through the One-Stop Employment Center, supporting communiting policing (Neighborhood Watch), promoting ethnic/racial harmony and changing the neighborhood image.
