This event would not happen without volunteers! Volunteers are needed for a variety of opportunities at the Electronics Recycling Event.
We are looking for GREETERS & CASHIERS who will welcome attendees, collect information by completing a form, and process and document donations.
We are also looking for folks who are willing to do the more physical tasks of assisting with UNLOADING and PACKING of electronics (volunteers should be in good physical health with the ability to lift 50 pounds).
This event is fast paced and fun--with yummy snacks, hydration and lunch for volunteers included.
Volunteer shifts include:
9:30am-12:30pm & 12:30pm-3:30pm

Description
ReGroup is a local non-profit educational group, formed in 1989, to develop awareness of waste reduction, reuse and recycling benefits on Alaska's Kenai Peninsula. In partnership with a variety of supporters and volunteers, ReGroup facilitates education as well as the following events: Kenai Aluminum Can Round-Up, Salvage Art Exhibit, electronics recycling and provides bins and training for recycling and composting at various community events.
The organization is an entirely volunteer driven effort.
