We are looking for animal lovers to help us feed abandoned and feral cats (unsocialized to people) throughout the neighborhoods of Boston. According to The Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, it can be estimated that there are over 10,000 feral cats in Roxbury and Dorchester alone. Boston's Forgotten Felies cares and feeds for over 150 cats, daily.
Some of our feeding sites can be accessed by the T. Others require a car. The hours depend on what loop you are feeding at; "feeding loop".
Boston's Forgotten Felines will provide all food as well as training until you feel comfortable going out by yourself. Have a friend with a car? There is a possibility you could pair up with your friend and feed together; it would make it more fun!
