Red Kettle Bell Ringing Volunteers Needed!

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: The Salvation Army National Capital Area Command

  • 3 people are interested

Help us celebrate Christmas with The Salvation Army's famous Red Kettles. Greet shoppers as they fill the kettles this season with their contributions to help our most needy. Kettles are located at grocery and retail stores throughout the area, and we can work with you to find the best location for you.

The campaign begins on Thursday, November 10th and runs through Christmas Eve, open every Monday - Saturday from 10 AM - 8 PM.

We ask that groups sign up to take at least a day of ringing at one kettle at one location. You can split the day among your family, friends, and coworkers or other group members in two-hour blocks. We welcome youth volunteers for this event, but youth MUST be accompanied by an adult chaperone.

We ask that individuals sign up for at minimum shift of 4 hours.

For more information and to sign up, contact: Angela Soriano at (202) 756-3906 or Angela.Soriano@uss.salvationarmy.org

Please indicate the neighborhood in which you wish to volunteer.
