At Metro Caring, we're meeting people's immediate food needs while sustainably addressing the root cause of hunger: poverty. We provide nutritious groceries to our hungry neighbors, and also offer comprehensive, wrap-around anti-hunger programming so that families can break the cycle of poverty.
Metro Caring is a welcoming, dignified, health-focused organization, open to everyone in the Denver metro area. Inside our facility, our staff and volunteers provide a respectful and equitable experience to anyone who walks through our doors.
We have a variety of volunteer opportunities. Volunteers in our warehouse will help will help inspect, clean, sort, and organize food donation deliverers. This is great for those seeking a volunteer community or those who want to volunteer with friends.
Volunteers in our market help to restock our shelves and keep our produce cooler full, help participants shop our market and find foods that work for their family, and help participants out to their cars. These roles involve participant interaction and working in pairs to accomplish volunteer tasks.
Our opportunities are very flexible and are meant to work with anyone's schedule! Come help end hunger in Denver today! Apply at metrocaring.org/volunteer
