At Boys & Girls Clubs of Columbus (BGCC), we offer recreational and educational programs to youth ages 6 to 18, ensuring that Columbus' kids have a productive and positive outlet for their free time.
The Club provides access to comprehensive after-school and summer programs. We work with 5,800 youth annually, and are constantly expanding our efforts to enable all young people, especially those who need us the most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.
We are looking for volunteers who would be able to assist with our Power Hour, a daily activity that allows staff to help youth with homework. Our ideal volunteer would be comfortable helping our Club members (ages 6-12) with their homework in a group setting. Subjects vary from Math, Reading, Science, and Spelling.
Power Hour takes place Monday-Friday from 4-5p.m. Our ideal volunteer is able to commit to 1 day per week.
Questions? Contact Mallory Conlin at mconlin@bgccolumbus.org or 614-221-8830 ext. 231.
