Description

CityLink is a city-wide initiative started by a group of social service agencies who recognized the need for integrated services. The founding partners reached out to the faith-based community for support in realizing this vision. CityLink leverages the strengths of various local social service agencies and continues to build support from faith-based, corporate, foundation and individual supporters.

Clients experience integrated services in an easy-to-navigate, inspirational environment. They are surrounded by a specialized team of social services, highly trained staff and committed volunteers who know their story, stay connected to their life, and who are working to get them to the same place: employed, content, engaged and loved.

Why Give Time?

Our city will only reach its full potential when every individual has an opportunity to reach theirs. We aim to break down socio-economic barriers and have people engage with respect and dignity, building on one another’s strengths.

We are called to serve people in our city. God said that there need be no poverty amongst us, that we can be the hands and feet to serve those in need, that we shall pray for those in need while we actively serve them.

As a non-profit organization, it is impossible/impractical to have a large paid staff to give the level of attention needed to those attempting the hard work of creating lasting life change. Volunteers offer manpower for deeper and sustained relationships with clients.
