Volunteers are the heart of hospice and play a vital role in the total care of the patient. There are many ways to use your talents and lend a hand to those in need.

We are currently looking for people to be Veteran Serving Veteran Volunteers. As a Veteran Serving Veteran Volunteer, you will have the honor of extending a warm hand of friendship to military veterans with serious illness and those nearing the end of life. Veterans Serving Veterans offers a special bond only those with military experiences share, and a way to pay tribute to those who have served our country - your military brothers and sisters. These volunteers have the unique ability to foster relationships in which life review and healing may take place. The camaraderie created between Veterans has proven to be supportive for all involved.

Some of the ways you could help:
Visit military veteran patients
Take part in special pinning ceremonies for veterans
Present appreciation certificates
Assist in replacing lost medals
Share specialty holiday events.
