Our Big Book Sale is back, and Friends of the PPLD is looking for volunteer help! We have shifts available for setting up the sale on March 10th, monitoring the sales floor on March 12th and 13th, and tearing it all down on March 14th.
You can volunteer for as little as two hours on a drop-in basis, or sign up for one or more of our scheduled shifts.

Description
The Friends of the Pikes Peak Library District was established on March 11, 1955 in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Colorado Springs Public Library, and incorporated as a nonprofit organization in 1969.
We support the Pikes Peak Library District by serving as community advocates, raising funds to enhance library services and programs, promoting the love of reading and books, and recirculating materials in environmentally responsible ways.

- 2 hour minimum service requested, one-time commitment
- Ability to lift book boxes helpful but not necessary for most shifts. This is an indoor event; library administration requires volunteers to wear masks covering the nose, mouth, and chin during their time of service. Thank you!
